One Year Later….

This fall, we are all going to be bombarded with News Reports and Specials about the financial crisis that started last year about this time, gained speed in November and then went down hill from there.

so, the question is – are you better off now than you were One Year Ago? and if not, why not? and if not, what are you going to do about it NOW?

The very best financial predictions I see gaining consensus are that we will experience a pro-longed ‘tepid’ recovery, so much so that it will be hard to benefit by any overall economic lift. IF so, what to do about it?

JUST DO IT…and here’s why:

1. The BIG BOYS are moving
2. JUST this morning, I’ve sent out 4 proposals – pp are paying attention to new ideas to get ready for 2010
3. Airline manifests are only at 50% for September for advance bookings
4. Disney just bought Marvel
5. RevPar predictions are saying it will take 5 more years to reach 2007 levels
6. Steve Jobs is back at Apple and back with a vengeance

My point in this mixed list? there are and will continue to be – all through next year possibly – lots of negative indicators; yet, those who know their core competencies, know their customers, are Networked – they are Just Doing It, with blinders on and making progress.

One Year Later…I am 12 marathons closer to my goal of doing one in all 50 states and have never felt better – physically and mentally.
